All seat and roof badges listed on this page allow access into all ground floor public areas of the racecourse. Due to limited space we are unable to offer discounts for children on any of the badges listed above.

Please note: some enclosures will require racegoers to be wristbanded on arrival.

Tattersalls Enclosure

The Tattersalls Enclosure is the largest and most atmospheric area on the racecourse throughout the three days of the Grand National meeting. Over 30,000 racegoers can be found enjoying the excitement and colour within Tattersalls on both Ladies Day and Grand National day and nearly 15,000 on Opening Day.

The Aintree Pavilion offers impressive amenities, including: catering, bar and betting facilities. Big screens will keep you up to date with the latest news of the Grand National meeting. The stage area provides live music from a range of bands and artists keeping everyone entertained on each day of the meeting.

In addition to the Aintree Pavilion, racegoers also have access into the Irish Bar within the Princess Royal Stand [ground floor] and the Chair Pavilion; both offering full amenities.

Racegoers within the Tattersalls Enclosure have access to viewing of the Parade Ring and the Winner's Enclosure and can also shop at the trade stands at the rear of the Princess Royal Stand. Viewing of the racecourse itself is generally via the large Aintree Mound. This area is open-air but does allow excellent viewing of the race action down the home straight.

Steeplechase Enclosure [Saturday only]

In 2005, the atmospheric Steeplechase Enclosure was upgraded to allow vastly improved viewing for racegoers at the Grand National meeting. Once again, the area will be made up of two contrasting enclosures; the lively Embankment overlooking the first few fences of the Grand National itself, and the more relaxed Canal Turn area. Both offer racegoers impressive facilities to enjoy the Grand National with full betting, catering and bar options.

A new seated area will be built to allow viewing of the Mildmay course. This will be located close to Melling Road and will give racegoers viewing of all other races on Grand National day.

From the Steeplechase Enclosure, there is no access to the Winner's Enclosure or the Parade Ring. A large screen is adjacent to the Embankment area.

This area is a great day out for anyone wanting to experience the atmosphere of the Grand National. It is also one of the prime locations for viewing racing over the Grand National fences.
